Hostel is the home away from home. GPS is proud to declare that efforts to provide every child a homely atmosphere, school management has introduced ultra modern and latest facilities in hostel to make hostel life most convenient one. Separate cost, cupboard,table and chair are provided to each child. Infermary in-charge resides in the campus itself to check and ensure good health for hostellers. He meets with all the hostellers daily in the evening and provides medicine and first aid whenever necessary. In case of urgency, the child's taken to renowned Doctor in the city and proper treatment is ensured.
Every hosteller gets excellent facilities like hair cutting saloon,round the clock hot water and room heater during winter season and coolers for hot weather. A period of gardening is held once a fortnight to create love for nature and develop their creativity. Mess Menu is period by the students themselves and then being approved by the direction. Salad and green vegetables,fruits and sweets are provided at proper interval. The same food is provided to all the staff of GPS.
Special coaching is provided to bright scholars and their improvement is observed. Improvement in the performance of slow learners is ensured by taking afternoon and night classes specially fot them. Various skill fest based are organized to upgrade the child's logical and reasoning aptitude. These tests are optional and child can appear in them by paying the required fee. Very special care is taken for junior students.Each Dormitory has one ward boy(Aaya Didi in girl's hostel) who cares motherly for oiling on the hair, combing properly,clothing,lip-guard on lips and cream on face as per weather condition and proper turnout of the child. Teachers make regular visit to the hostel and are available 24 hours,to clear the doubts of the students and to assist them.The disciplined caring touch of the wardens ensure that students academic excellance with optimum focus of GPS. The Principal's residence located near the hostel. The Warden's residencein the hostel building further increases the security and safety of the students.
A balanced diet under the guidance of a Dietician is provided to each student.Sweets and fruits are provided once a week. Milk with Bournvita is provided to hostellers twice a day.Teachers take lunch with the students and personally care for student’s diet habits.
The School conducts regular medical checkup every month.The students are treated under the supervision of well qualified Doctors.Doctor is available round the clock for any emergency.Resident Infirmary Incharge attends the sick children in restroom.In case of serious illness the child is shifted to a competent hospital at Kawardha.Expenditure incurres by such hospitalization will be borne by parents/guardians.

Career Counseling provided to the students in gaining a better understanding how they can plan their careers autonomously or help them in taking tough decisions and getting through times of crisis.Counseling,is prpvided to students who are experiencing difficulty with their studies.Behavioral counselling is focused on human behavioral and looks to eradicate unwanted or maladaptive behavors such as addiction,anxiety,phobias,obessive,compulsive disorder etc.
The admission is meant for one complete session in a class.If a student leaves the school once the school starts for that session,he/she is liable to pay the fee and dues for Pro-rata.Fees once deposited is non transferable. The transfer certificate of such students will be issued only if dues are settled.Applocation for seeking transfer certificate can be made by parents,giving one calender month is prior application.
